Kind of a late post, oops! But today's Adventure Snapshot takes us back to last Saturday! My mom had a company picnic at Gilroy Gardens, and it was a pretty nostalgic experience for me. I used to go there with my family and my family friends when I was younger, and we went all the time. The rides were colorful and brought so much excitement to our 11 year old selves. Coming back here, I had such a shock as to how much has changed and how much I've grown. It was really surprising and hard to realize that the time flew by so rapidly. My brother, Mickey, and I were a bit too big to go on most of the rides, so we went around the park to take pictures of some of the outfits I had recently posted (here & here). But, of course, we just had to go on the rides that we were able to fit in!

Despite the fact that carousels just spin around slowly with horses moving up and down, carousels are one of my favorite amusement park rides because of the beautiful horses that are each so unique and gorgeously crafted.
The mushroom ride! Haha, even though I'm afraid of heights, all that goes away when I'm spinning on a chair hanging on chains.
The food was surprisingly really good! We had a picnic at around 12 and ice cream at 3! They even had a huge vegetarian option (the veggie burger was delicious!)
Baby animals make me happy. Baby animals with little bandanas? Dying over the cuteness!
From left to right: Andrew (one of my family friends that I've gone to Gilroy Gardens with in the past), Brian (my brother), and Kevin (my cousin)!
