I'm one of those people who never use the word literally unless I actually mean it. When people say that they're "literally dying of laughter" or that they "literally can't," I kind of just stare at them and get annoyed. Does anybody else feel like it's annoying when people use the word 'literally' in every sentence? I know it can't just be me. There's actually a funny comic on The Oatmeal that I was giggling over. I only use the word 'literally' when I actually mean it. So when I say that this shirt is literally the softest shirt I've ever worn, I really do mean that this is the softest shirt I've ever worn.
Marine Layer makes their shirts in California using a blend of two yarns: Pima Cotton & MicroModal (which comes from recycled beechwood) which means that the shirts are CO2 neutral! They make the shirts in small batches which allow them to try out a couple of designs and concepts, so that each batch is different from the rest! If you don't believe that their shirts are extremely soft, I urge you to go onto their website to request a swatch of their fabric. I'll even include the link of it here just so that it's easier! Or if you don't want a swatch, just go on their website anyways and read about their story or just the model infos in each of their products (they're actually really funny people!).
Moving on from me gushing about how soft the shirt is, I wanted to try something that I thought was really hard to do, but really interesting and that is stacking statement necklaces. I was reading an article somewhere about statement necklaces, and I saw that the models were stacking statement necklaces on top of each other to give more texture and more statement to the outfit. I thought it was an incredible idea because, like most of you know, I'm a huge fan of statement necklaces. So I thought that I'd give it a try with this outfit. Let me know what you guys think!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much! ((: ♥
ReplyDeleteThose wedges literally had me at hello, Diane. I really mean that (heh). I find it amusing (but for the most part aggravating) when people use the word literally like literally for every single time they need to exaggerate for effect. Stacking up statement necklaces is a new thing for me, but since I don't even wear one, let me just appreciate them on you (lol). Thank you for sharing love, it's always nice coming here <3 xx
