As a contrast to the previous complete black outfit, I went with a light, pastel, and airy look for today's outfit. I've decided that it's a bit too soon to be wearing the autumn looks that I want to wear because it's still summer weather (if not hotter) in the Bay Area. With that being said, crop tops and skirts get to stay in my closet just a bit longer until the weather remembers that it needs to get cooler! I paired this high waisted lavender skirt with my favorite DIY Arctic Monkey's shirt to make into a cute outfit that I could wear seamlessly from a day out with my girl friends to a casual dinner party with the relatives without over or under dressing for each event.

The dinner party was in celebration for the mid autumn moon festival, so we got to light some paper lanterns and play around with them. Mickey, being bored and creative as he was, wanted to take some pictures with the lanterns, so we got a couple of shots in for that, too! Though the pictures and edits were a bit calming with an ominous feel, it was just a bit scary walking through this field with fire; if I fell, I could have easily lit the field on fire. Hence, "Arsonist's Lullaby."

  4. It's a bit different, isn't it? Listening to something so daunting while looking at bright pictures. I wanted to experiment and see if anyone would notice, and I'm glad that you did! Glad you liked it, Shanaz, and hope you have a lovely week! (:
