14 days. 14 days and not a day has gone by that I have thought about my blog. I've truly and honestly wanted to write a post about my absence, but there was too much and too little that I wanted to write about. I had written up two posts, but every time I had discarded the draft. I felt like there was nothing that I could write and be passionate about. I promised myself in the beginning that I would never publish a blog post that I wasn't proud of, so I didn't. Long story short pertaining to my absence, I needed some time to myself to process my mentality and to make sure that I was okay. I'm getting better.
If you have been following my Instagram, you might have noticed that I've been wearing desaturated and dark colors everyday, sporting black from head to toe. I've grown so accustomed to grabbing my moto jackets off my racks and running out the door that I decided wearing all black would be beneficial for me to prevent any fashion blunders. Today was my nephew's first birthday party, so I decided to wear something a bit bright and more appealing. I opted for sky blue and white because 1) the two are gorgeous together, 2) it's still so hot in California, and 3) I really liked this blazer, so I decided to work with it. To elongate my body, I layered a couple of long necklaces together and put on these gorgeous tan wedges to give me some height.

So glad you're back, Diane! I hope you are feeling much more relaxed after your blogging break. Everyone needs one from time to time! This romper looks absolutely stunning on you. I love the lace details!
