I don't typically buy new make up. I've had the same ELF eyeliner, Maybelline Telescopic mascara, and Urban Decay Naked 2 & 3 palette for the longest time. I have the same pink or brown smokey eye look with a winged eyeliner because I'm comfortable with it. I'm just not as interesting with makeup as I am with my other styles. When Memebox contacted me and asked if I wanted to collaborate with them, I had to say yes. And I'm so glad that I did.
They first sent me their collaboration with Stephanie from SoothingSista. This palette contained a variety of pinks and shimmers that I just absolutely adored. It really brightened up my face and adding a more natural darkness to the edge of my eyes.
The second palette they sent me was their collaboration with Nylon Magazine. The palette had some reds and earthy colors in it with a highlight and blush. I really liked the red in the palette because it gave me a more romantic look and more attention to my eyes. It was hard for me, however, to use the minty and green shades because it didn't work too well with my skin color, but I have to try again to see if I can get it to work with my very limited make up skills, haha.
But all in all, I'm so glad that I can freshen up my look for the spring and upcoming summer time. Thank you, Memebox!
