I've never felt so comfortable shooting in something so beautiful.

DRESS c/o Azazie

In a tshirt and jeans, I'm kicking it back and chilling without a worry in mind. In a leather jacket and smoky eyes, I'm the coolest kid alive. In a bold floor length dress, I'm living my childhood dream of becoming a Disney princess. Though my hair isn't as glamorous as Rapunzel's and my voice as sweet as Ariel's, I felt as comfortable strutting in this dress with people watching me as Jasmine going on a magic carpet with a stranger, haha! I feel like the things that we wear transform our personalities and turn us into a different character.

This Kaleigh dress from Azazie transformed me into such a confident person. I didn't shy away when people stared or walked by. I wasn't embarrassed to be in such a bold dress (granted, there were two couples shooting their engagement photos simultaneously). I smiled, I twirled, and I wanted to make a statement in this dress. The neckline of the dress is modest, so I didn't have to worry about having to pull up my dress every once in a while. The length of the skirt perfect for that elegant look when I walked or stood idly by and for when I wanted to spin around to flare up the dress. The fact that I was much more confident in shooting in this beautiful number than I am in my typical shoots had a lot to say about my style.
