Someone asked, I delivered.

I've been holding off on writing or showing my skincare routine because I didn't think that anyone cared, but I actually got asked to write and show what skincare products I used. Doing my skin care routine at night is the most therapeutic activity of the day. Depending on the day, it can take from 10 to 30 minutes from start to finish. Also, disclaimer: I don't know a lot about dermatology; I've mostly just gone on YouTube to find people who have similar skin types as I have and go with their suggestions. I'll list some of my favorite YouTuber's skin care routine at the bottom.

MY SKIN TYPE.

Oily, sensitive.

THE DAILY.

TONER.

For the first step of my routine (for both day and night), I use toner to help clarify my skin and to get rid of some of the oils that I have.

SERUMS.

For the second step, I use a serum. Serums are usually loaded with active ingredients that you want to have closest to your skin, so that they can penetrate the skin first. My favorite to use are the OLEHENDRIKSEN Vitamin C Serum and the Farmacy Honeymoon Glow. One of my problems that I have with my skin in the morning is that I feel that it looks dull. Both of these serums help give my skin a little life and brightness. I use the Vitamin C serum in the morning and the Honeymoon Glow at night.

EYE CREAM & LIP CARE.

As I'm letting the serums sink into my skin before moisturizing, I start applying my lip mask and eye creme. The LANEIGE lip sleeping mask is the best product I've ever used; it's not sticky, it's super moisturizing, and you don't need to use a lot to have it start feeling moisturized. I got Brandon onto this product, too, and he's been on it ever since. The OLEHENRIKSEN eye cream has also been a life saver. It's been helping with my dark circles and lightening them ever so slightly.

MOISTURIZERS.

[Derma E: Advanced Peptides And Collagen Moisturizer] | [Derma E: Skin De-Stress Calming CBD Moisturizer]

Disclaimer: Both Derma E products were sent to me courtesy of Derma E. Even so, I've been using the products for a while (especially the Advanced Peptides and Collagen Moisturizer) and highly recommend them.

After I feel like the serum has soaked into my skin, I start to apply moisturizer. These two are similar in texture and weight on the skin, but I switch them up depending on how my skin feels. Before, I hated moisturizers because I didn't like how thick and greasy it was on my skin, but after trying a couple, these were definitely my go-to's. They're both pretty creamy and feel soothing on my skin. The best part is that you don't need to pile on the moisturizer to make sure every inch of your face gets covered; a little really goes a long way.  Usually, I'll use the Advanced Peptides And Collagen Moisturizer, but whenever I feel like my skin is starting to get irritated or is redder than usual, I switch to the Skin De-Stress Calming CBD Moisturizer to calm it down.

EXTRA CARE.

FACE MASKS.

I love face masks. I feel like they're almost a 'one step cure' for slight issues that I have on my face, especially when I'm using these masks. What I especially love about this brand is that the masks are really loaded up with serums, so even after the 20-25 minutes that I have the sheet on the sheet is still wet. Whenever I'm done with the masks, I usually take the sheet and wipe it on my neck and decolletage so that I don't waste the serums. My favorite sheet masks are the Snail, Lemon, and the Madecassoside.

OILS.

If my skin is feeling especially dry (usually during the winter time), I'll add some oils on my face. My favorite thing to do is to use the quartz roller and the gua sha to massage the oils into my face, as well as sculpting my face a little bit. Do I believe the sculpting works? Not really, but it feels so nice, and I won't stop using them.

YOUTUBERS I TRUST.

Like I said before, I don't know a lot about skincare, the ingredients in them, or what's good or not. I just use what I feel helps my skin and pray it doesn't react. I usually get my skincare recommendations from YouTubers I trust, so here are a few videos in case you're interested!

Hope this helped a little bit. I'm always open for more recommendations, so please let me know what skincare products you guys love to use!

Much love,
Diane
