My mom always told me that I never knew how to dress properly for the weather. She's right. I really don't know how to. I'm currently in Oxnard, CA, and it's a sweltering 93 degrees F. And I decided to wear a long playsuit with a black top over it. I'm still a tad bit sick, so I'm still trying to wear warm clothes! Haha, that's the best excuse I can come up with. I woke up at 7:30 in the morning to go to the fish market by the house, so I did have to layer up because it's still pretty cold by the beach! I took a lot of pictures of what I did while in Oxnard, so I can't wait to show you all what I did!
Throughout my senior year of high school, I never once wore pants; I'd wear shorts, tights, but never pants. I slowly started to wear pants and jeans again once I got into college, but it'd always be simple and monochrome. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and wear printed pants (or rather using this playsuit as pants) to see how I liked it. I figured that as long as I was wearing all black, it'd be okay so that I wouldn't have any clashing patterns. I decided to style the floral print bottoms with this slightly oversized Flower Yang top from 3for12, an online store that lets you pick out 3 shirts for the price of $12. Their tops range from funny graphics to symbolic tees. For a college student desperately in the lookout for ways to save money while looking their best, 3for12 is the way to go. They also have a store called 4for10 for guys that allow them to buy 4 shirts for the price of $10. Seriously, how can you not check out their store with that price?

Those are some real showstopping pants. And if my eyes are not fooling me, are those floral print marks on the yin and yang symbol on your top? Very nicely coordinated as always Diane! I'm sorry to hear you're still ill and need to layer up even when it's hot. By the beach, it always is a little cooler so layer up you must. Did you wear those killer shoes for a beach stroll? I wouldn't know how to walk in them! Hehe. BTW, I'm completely in love with Two Door Cinema Club! "Handshake" is my all-time fav. Enjoy yourself sweetie! <3 xx

ReplyDeleteThank you, Vivian! And I've gotten better ^_^
ReplyDeleteThank you, Esther!
ReplyDeleteHaha, we're so alike! I can't help it. If I see something that I like, I'll wear it and totally forget about the weather conditions!
ReplyDeleteYeup! The pattern on the yin and yang symbol is floral! I was hoping that my pants would bring out the floral print, but it drowned it out. But I'm happy that you noticed it! I wore these boots around the pier and on a boat, so it wasn't trouble walking around! And omg, I love TDCC! Handshake is my favorite as well! Thank you for stopping by as usual (:
