My mom always told me that I never knew how to dress properly for the weather. She's right. I really don't know how to. I'm currently in Oxnard, CA, and it's a sweltering 93 degrees F. And I decided to wear a long playsuit with a black top over it. I'm still a tad bit sick, so I'm still trying to wear warm clothes! Haha, that's the best excuse I can come up with. I woke up at 7:30 in the morning to go to the fish market by the house, so I did have to layer up because it's still pretty cold by the beach! I took a lot of pictures of what I did while in Oxnard, so I can't wait to show you all what I did!

Throughout my senior year of high school, I never once wore pants; I'd wear shorts, tights, but never pants. I slowly started to wear pants and jeans again once I got into college, but it'd always be simple and monochrome. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and wear printed pants (or rather using this playsuit as pants) to see how I liked it. I figured that as long as I was wearing all black, it'd be okay so that I wouldn't have any clashing patterns. I decided to style the floral print bottoms with this slightly oversized Flower Yang top from 3for12, an online store that lets you pick out 3 shirts for the price of $12. Their tops range from funny graphics to symbolic tees. For a college student desperately in the lookout for ways to save money while looking their best, 3for12 is the way to go. They also have a store called 4for10 for guys that allow them to buy 4 shirts for the price of $10. Seriously, how can you not check out their store with that price?

  4. Haha, we're so alike! I can't help it. If I see something that I like, I'll wear it and totally forget about the weather conditions!

  5. Yeup! The pattern on the yin and yang symbol is floral! I was hoping that my pants would bring out the floral print, but it drowned it out. But I'm happy that you noticed it! I wore these boots around the pier and on a boat, so it wasn't trouble walking around! And omg, I love TDCC! Handshake is my favorite as well! Thank you for stopping by as usual (:
