Cold weather = Dry skin = 👎

If you've been following me, you know that I love taking care of my skin. I just find that the more I take care of it, the more confident I feel, and the less makeup I put on. But don't get me wrong, I love love wearing makeup, but that's a whole other post. I've recently teamed up with Farmacy to introduce my new favorite exfoliant, the Gentle Exfoliating Grains with Echinacea GreenEnvy.

The Farmacy Gentle Exfoliating Grains with Echinacea GreenEnvy is a cleansing grain that transforms into a nice gentle exfoliating cream when you add water. The grains contains the highest known concentration of the phytochemical Cichoric Acid which helps protect the skin and breaks down collagen. The grains are also made out of a complex of white willow bark, carrot, green tea, and marshmallow to help soothe, calm, and protect the skin. Marshmallow. Seriously so cool, haha. The grain also includes rice bran powder which helps loosen dry skin cells and absorbs excess oils.

I think this is my first exfoliating product that I felt did the work without irritating my skin. When rubbing the grains with water onto the skin, the product turns creamy and isn't drying at all despite the initial powder/grain consistency.

I use Memebox's Blackhead Off two or three times a week, just because I feel like it's unnecessary be constantly exfoliating and taking out the blackheads on my nose. When I started taking care of my skin more a couple years back and was introduced to exfoliants, I used them everyday, and my skin started getting cut up. It seems pretty obvious now, but back then, I thought it would be the best idea. So just in case you're "new" to skincare and are exfoliating everyday - don't.

And finally to keep my face moisturized throughout the night, I first apply Lancome's Advanced Gentrifique Youth Activating Concentrate, and then a layer of Dr. Jart+'s Night BB Beauty Balm.

If you're interested in the Farmacy product or in the market for a new exfoliant, you can find the grains on Farmacy's website or at Sephora!
