Shoutout to Brandon for having to deal with my creative choices in trying to wear blue on blue on blue for this shoot. It was tough to try to get me to pop from the background.

Speaking of trying to blend into the background, I've been trying to get off social media a little and little more everyday. Social media has become a bit toxic and distracting to me lately. I've found that I found a majority of the time scrolling through an endless feed, comparing myself to everyone I swiped by. I've realized that I've been losing my originality and sight of my real goals. It's weird, isn't it? I feel that it's such a stupid thing to be so enveloped into technology and social media to forget the real world around me. But at least I've taken notice and action of it. 

This is my second week of social media detox, and I've been feeling amazing about myself; I feel more capable of my skills and how I am as a person. I've been working on part 1 of my senior final project at school, and it's really been eating up my time, but I'm so proud of what I have so far. I can't wait to show you all what I've been doing. And as for my blog, I'm going to be writing and taking pictures every now and then, but I want to be able to spend more time on it when I do have the chance. My blog has really transformed into something greater for me, so I do want to hold it close and work on it as much as I can.

In regards to social media, I'm more likely to post updates on what I'm doing on my more family/friends oriented pages such as Facebook and Snapchat (username: dianehoang), so give those a follow if you're interested.
