"It's summertime,
Though it's hard to see its true possibilities,
When you look inside, all you'll see,
Is a self-reflected inner sadness."

I think my favorite thing about blogging is that I can just take a step away from my life for a moment and just write whatever I want to write and what I like or am wearing at the time. I really enjoy that. Even if it's just switching from an Adobe software on my computer to the Blogger website, it takes a lot of stress off of me. I feel like for someone who has so much to do, I've done absolutely nothing productive in the last couple of days. Oops. I'm currently working on lip-syncing! I think I already mentioned it yesterday, but I'm excited to show you all once I've finished! If it's good enough, that is.

I've never been really good at clashing prints or wearing similar prints together, but I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and try it out. This top and skirt ensemble, courtesy of Charlotte Russe, was the best way to get me out of my comfort zone. I thought that the different prints would somewhat work with each other because of the speckled spots that went from small designs transitioning to bigger spots/prints. What I love the most about this skirt is the fabric and the slit down the side of the skirt; it allows my legs to breathe, and it's just a nice touch, too!

Let me know in the comments your tips and tricks to clashing prints! If there are any!

  1. Your print on print look is buzzing with effortless summer vibe and you look amazing :) Those shoes are out of my comfort zone though! Are they easy to walk in? <3
