I realized two things today before hopping into the car to get home: 1) I'm starting to be able to fall asleep anywhere, and 2) how much I've spent my time waiting. To briefly comment on the first thing, just before we left Oxnard, I found myself asleep on the ground without a blanket or a pillow to make myself more comfortable. I was just sprawled out on the ground asleep, haha. And with the second, I realized that I'm often just sitting and just waiting for something to happen which I don't think is a very healthy and productive thing to do. I feel like my blog is a way for me to make promises to myself and to make positive decisions, so I'm going to start being more productive with my time, starting with exercising regularly and reading more. I'm currently reading The Bat by my favorite author Jo Nesbo. I have a couple of other books in a pile of what I want to read, but if you have a favorite that you'd like to recommend, let me know!

For the nth time, I've been drawn to wearing another black and white outfit with a pop of color coming from my sunglasses. What I love about black and white outfits is styling a black top with a bold white print on it, in this case Fatima's Hand. 3for12 offers a wide variety of different graphic tops that fit any personality. And for the, I think, 3rd time this week, I'm sporting this leather jacket from Tidebuy, an online store that sells pretty much anything for a pretty reasonable price. I love looking at the different coats and outwear on there, as well as the dresses that they have, hehe. Stay cool, loves!

  2. I think it's cute that you can just fall asleep on a ground haha! I can never fall asleep properly anywhere unless it is on my own bed. Must be something in the air there. And look, you're wearing a tee with a hamsa print. Did you know that the symbol is "a sign of protection that also represents blessings, power, and strength, and is seen as potent in deflecting the evil eye?" Not that I subscribe to the idea that there is an evil eye to ward of against (lol). I like everything about your look - chic, understated with a dash of edge as always ;) xx

PS: Love the song's retro sound <3

  6. Haha, I've grown accustomed to falling asleep on the ground; I heard it's good for straightening out your spine! I love the hamsa print as much as I love the evil eye charms. I knew that it deflected the evil eye, but I didn't know about all the other representations! I'm always learning something from you! :D
